We invite you to submit technical papers representing optimization application in various industries including: automotive, aerospace, electronics,
manufacturing, marine engineering, biomedical engineering, etc.
The major topics for the conference are:
- Composite Material Structures Optimization
- Linear Structures Optimization
- Non-linear Structures Optimization
- Optimization of Nonstructural Systems
The conference is not limited to these topics. We encourage the papers and presentations on applying optimization to any product or process as well
as papers showing new developments in optimization technology. The main focus of the conference will be on using optimization for
practical purposes, but exploratory study papers are also welcome.
All conference participants will receive a CD with the conference proceedings during registration at the conference. The proceedings will contain the abstracts and presentations. Full papers are welcome and will be included in the proceedings.

- Abstract Submission Deadline: 21 March, 2008
- Full Paper Submission Deadline: 04 April, 2008
Presentation Details:
- Presentations will be 30 minutes long - 20 minutes for presentations and 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
- Presentations will begin on the hour and half hour.
- Each session will have three to four papers.
- A PC with MS Powerpoint and Adobe software along with a projector will be provided.
- There will be no simultaneous sessions.
- If more time for presentations is desired, please include the amount of extra time required with your abstract submission. We will try to accommodate your needs.
- Abstracts, Papers and Presentations can be in either MS Word, MS Powerpoint or Adobe PDF Formats.
- Please indicate in your abstract submission if abstract/paper/presentation inclusion within the conference proceedings is not desired.
