Do not miss the opportunity to participate in our upcoming one-day workshops. We are offering two sessions: General Optimization using VisualDOC, and Automotive Body Optimization using GENESIS and Design Studio.

This offer is available to anyone interested in learning these subjects or using our software. The workshops are free of charge so don't miss out on this unique opportunity.
Sign up now by sending an email to training@vrand.com or calling 719-473-4611 x100.

These workshops are intended to give attendees a brief overview of the software, it's capabilities and features. Hands-on exercises will be solved by the attendees.

If you have any questions regarding the content, please contact Phani Adduri (e-mail: padduri@vrand.com) (phone: 248-596-1611 x101) or for registration questions please contact Jennifer Krejci (email: jennifer@vrand.com) (phone: 719-473-4611 x100). Early registration is encouraged due to limited seating.

General Optimization using VisualDOC Workshop
Date: August 26, 2010, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Location: 41700 Gardenbrook Rd, Suite 115, Novi, Michigan
About:

VisualDOC is a general-purpose optimization tool that allows the user to quickly add design optimization capabilities to almost any analysis program. All optimization settings and integration with analyses are completed through the graphical interface, so that it is not necessary to do any programming. VisualDOC can perform linear, non-linear, constrained and unconstrained as well as integer, discrete and mixed optimization. Gradient-based, non-gradient based and response surface approximate optimization algorithms are available. Additionally, a design of experiments module and probabilistic analysis and design capabilities are available.

Automotive Body Optimization Workshop
Date: August 27, 2010, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Location: 41700 Gardenbrook Rd, Suite 115, Novi, Michigan
About:

This workshop will provide an overview of important capabilities of GENESIS for optimizing car bodies. Attendees would solve examples that demonstrate the ease of use of the software in optimizing entire automobile bodies. Attendees will have a chance to interact with experienced engineers on the subject.
