Optimization AND Design OF Experiments
- Probabilistic optimization (Could be used with any existing
optimization method and DOE):
- Simulation methods: Monte-Carlo, Latin Hypercube
- Approximate methods: Mean-Value, Monte-Carlo on Response Surface, Latin Hypercube on Response Surface
- Any distribution parameter (and all of them together) can be design variables. Parameter representation or mean value/standard deviation representation can be employed. Parameter can be linked together or related through a synthetic function.
- Analysis only capability (including probabilistic analysis)
- New versions of DOT and BIGDOT optimizers
Interfaces
- VisualScript improvements:
- Loop statement
- Array elements (extract/modify several numbers at once given a pattern)
- Matlab and Excel could be called as elements of VisualScript
- VisualScript elements can be saved separately and reused later
- Improved look and feel
