We are seeking a development engineer for our VisualDOC and VisualScript optimization software (for more information click on VisualDOC General Purpose Optimization Software) The candidate should be knowledgeable in optimization methods and applications and be proficient in programming. We use a variety of programming languages including Fortran, C, C++, Java and Python. The successful candidate will work in most aspects of the software, including implementing user interfaces and interactive graphic models, algorithms, documentation and client support.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and have prior software development experience. Experience with general purpose multidiscipline design optimization tools is highly desirable.
