Advanced Topometry Optimization Training Class

This course will give students an introduction to topometry optimization. Students will learn topometry optimization concepts and will work with several hands-on exercises. Students will learn how to interpret and use topometry optimization results. During the class, students will be exposed to industrial applications and examples.

  • A basic knowledge of finite element analysis

  • Topometry pre- and post-processing using Design Studio
  • Topometry results visualization with Design Studio
  • Sizing optimization
  • Topometry optimization with manufacturing constraints
  • Creating CAD surface mesh from topometry results
  • Mode shape optimization, Weld location optimization and other special topics

  • The instructor will present teaching material and solve examples
  • Hands-on exercises will be solved by the students assisted by instructor
  • 1 day
