  • Vanderplaats R&D, Inc. would like to cordially invite you to our upcoming seminar, followed by lunch, featuring Professor Gyung-Jin Park, Ph.D., from Hanyang University in Korea. Professor Park will be discussing methods to optimize nonlinear transient problems for crash analysis using innovative methods and the GENESIS software. In addition, VR&D engineers will give a brief presentation of some of the developments at VR&D related to optimizing structures for NVH and safety improvements.

  • Dr. Santosh Tiwari joined VR&D in June 2009, as R&D Engineer, after receiving his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. His PhD research was on the Development and Integration of Geometric and Optimization Algorithms for Packing and Layout Design. He received his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India in 2004. He will work on the VisualDOC software development, design process integration, and research on optimization methods. He will also assist clients in the deployment of VR&D technology to support commercial applications.
